A long pitch before a question
After 20 seconds of talking, people stop listening. Ask within the first 15 seconds.
Good sales calls are not improvised. They follow the same six steps every time, so the customer always knows why you called and what happens next. Learn the structure, see it in a real script with the reason behind every line, test five openers and answer the objections you hear every day.
"Namaste [Name] ji, main [Business] se bol raha hoon." Sounds real, not spam.
"Aapne [Product] ke baare mein enquiry ki thi." Their own action, not your pitch.
"Do minute baat ho sakti hai?" A yes earns attention; a no becomes a callback.
Need, budget, timeline. Ask one, then listen.
Match one benefit to what they just told you.
A visit, a demo, a callback or a transfer. Never end without one.

Change one thing at a time and compare how many calls reach the first question.
| Opener | Best for | |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry reference | "Aapne [Product] ke liye enquiry ki thi…" | New and recent leads |
| Helpful reminder | "Bas yaad dilana tha ki [Offer] [Date] tak hai…" | Offers and deadlines |
| Question first | "Kya aap abhi bhi [Need] ke liye option dekh rahe hain?" | Old leads |
| Referral | "[Referrer] ji ne aapka number diya tha…" | Referrals |
| Local | "Hum [Area] mein hi hain, aapke paas…" | Local businesses and showrooms |
| Reply (Hinglish) | Why | |
|---|---|---|
| "Abhi busy hoon." | Koi baat nahi. Aaj shaam 6 baje ya kal subah 11 baje call karun? | Two times instead of "kab call karun?" |
| "Price kya hai?" | Batata hoon. Pehle ek sawaal, aapki team kitni badi hai? Taaki sahi plan bataun. | Price without context sounds high. |
| "Details WhatsApp kar do." | Zaroor bhejta hoon. Saath mein kal 10 minute ka call rakh lein? | Send it, but keep a next step. |
| "Interest nahi hai." | Theek hai. Kya pooch sakta hoon, abhi kya use kar rahe hain? | The reason is useful data. |
| "Sochke batata hoon." | Bilkul. Kis baat par sochna hai? Shayad main abhi help kar sakun. | Finds the real objection. |
| "Boss se poochna padega." | Samajh gaya. Kya unke saath ek short call rakh sakte hain? | Brings the decision maker in. |
| "Pehle se vendor hai." | Achha hai. Ek baar compare karke dekhne mein koi harz nahi, 10 minute? | Compare, never criticise. |
| "Call mat karo." | Bilkul, aage call nahi aayega. Dhanyavaad. | End politely and add to your opt-out list. |

An unnamed caller sounds like spam. Business name in the first line, always.
Offer two times instead. Choices get answers; open questions get "baad mein".

Agent: Hello [Name] ji, main [Your name] bol raha hoon [Company] se. Aapne [date] ko [product] ke baare mein poocha tha, maine details bheji thi.
Agent: Bas ek minute: kya aapko woh mil gayi, aur koi sawaal hai?
Customer: Haan, dekha tha, time nahi mila.
Agent: Koi baat nahi. Main 2 cheezein bata deta hoon jo sabse zyada poochi jaati hain, phir aap batana ki [demo/visit] ke liye kal ya parso, kaunsa din theek rahega?
Customer: Aap WhatsApp pe details bhej do.
Agent: Zaroor, abhi bhej deta hoon. Taaki main sahi details bhejoon, ek cheez bata dijiye: aapko [option A] chahiye ya [option B]?
Customer: [Option A].
Agent: Perfect. Main [option A] ki details aur price bhej raha hoon. Kal shaam 5 baje ek baar call kar loon, agar koi sawaal ho?
Customer: Ghar pe baat karke bataunga.
Agent: Bilkul sahi, yeh family ka decision hai. Ghar pe sabse pehle kya poocha jayega: price, location ya kuch aur?
Customer: Price.
Agent: Toh main aapko price ka poora breakup WhatsApp kar deta hoon, taaki aap sabko dikha sakein. Aur agar family saath aa sake, toh [visit/demo] Sunday ko rakh lein?
Agent: [Name] ji, aapko [product] use karte hue [time] ho gaya, kaisa chal raha hai?
Customer: Accha hai.
Agent: Sunke accha laga. Kya aapke dost ya family mein koi hai jo [problem] face kar raha ho? Aap naam bata dein, main aapka reference dekar ek baar baat kar loonga, bina pressure ke.
Customer: Pichhli baar bhi problem hui thi, koi sunta hi nahi!
Agent: Main samajh sakta hoon, aur sorry ki aapko phir se call karna pada. Main abhi note kar raha hoon: problem kya thi aur kab hui?
Customer: [Problem].
Agent: Thank you. Main ise [team] ko aaj hi bhej raha hoon, aur kal [time] tak aapko update dunga. Aapka complaint number [number] hai.
Customer: I'm busy right now, call me later.
Agent: Of course, I'll keep it short then. Would today at 6 PM or tomorrow morning at 11 work better?
Customer: Tomorrow at 11.
Agent: Done, tomorrow at 11. I'll send a short WhatsApp so you know it's me. Thank you, [Name].
Words in [brackets] are placeholders. The Hinglish scripts are written in Roman script, the way most customers type. Works for a human telecaller or an AI voice agent.
One that follows six parts: greet and name the business, give the reason the customer recognises, ask permission, ask two or three questions, give one benefit and agree one next step. The example on this page does it in 45 seconds.
Aim for 30 to 45 seconds to the first decision. Longer calls are fine once the customer is engaged.
Reference something the customer did: "Aapne [Product] ke liye enquiry ki thi." Test it against the other openers on this page.
Ask one question first so your answer fits their need, then give the price with the benefit that matters to them.
Use your customers' language. Hinglish works for most urban lists; Hindi, Marathi or Gujarati for customers who prefer them.
Yes. Troika sets up an AI calling agent with your script, calls your list, qualifies leads and transfers interested customers to your sales team.
Agree, ask one question so the details you send are the right ones, and fix a time to call back. Sending details without a next step usually ends the conversation.
Apologise once, let them explain, repeat the problem back, then give a specific next step with a time. Do not pitch until the complaint is handled.
Enter your number and we will set up a live AI demo call for you. Hear the voice, interrupt it, ask it questions, in Hindi or English.
